| Toddler Movement [30 minutes] |
| Ages 2-3 years old an introduction to movement, gymnastics and dance. The main goal of this class is to prep the children for the preschool level dance classes through following the instructor and learning how to be in dance class with other students and without a parent. | Preschool Dance [45 minutes- 1 hour] |
Ages 3-4 years old an introduction to Ballet, Jazz and Tap. The primary goal is to foster a love of movement. The children will learn the basics of ballet, jazz, tap and creative movement while also learning how to follow the teacher in a structured environment. Basic dance vocabulary is taught along with special activities using props and narrative dancing to show expression through dance. The 4 year old class builds on the components learned in the 3 year old class, but newcomers are still very welcome in the older class! Class options are twice a week for 45 minutes or once a week for 1 hour. Click here for class schedule. |
| Kindergarten Dance [1 hour] |
Age 5 class that builds on the children's knowledge in ballet and either tap or jazz. At this age, the child picks a combination of Ballet/Tap or Ballet/Jazz. Students can take two class a week to get all three disciplines in. Class options are weekdays Ballet/Tap or Ballet/Jazz for 1 hour 15 minutes or a Saturday Ballet/Tap/Jazz for 1 hour 30 minutes |
6-7 year Ballet, Jazz and Tap Combos |
Ages 6-7 years old and introduces the children to the formal structure of a ballet class and a jazz class. The students will be challenged with more vocabulary and tested through out the year while they learn the proper order of class and start correcting technique. Students can choose to take a Ballet/Jazz combo or a Ballet/Tap combo for 1 hour 15 minutes; Saturday classes include 8 year olds and run for 1 hour 30 minutes to include Ballet, Jazz and Tap. | Ballet [45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes] |
| The basis and backbone of all dance styles. The classes focuses on proper technique and order of class. Each level builds on the preceding level. Our ballet classes start at age 8 and go through high school. Our levels do not follow the number of years they have been dancing or their school grade. | Pointe [45 minutes to 1 hour] |
A ballet technique and performance class geared towards an intermediate-advanced dancer ages 10 and up. Pointe I starts the dancers in an introductory class where shoe maintenance and basic pointe strength and technique are emphasized. This class builds on years of multiple ballet classes a week. Students learn Pointe technique and build up to performing some of the classics and other pieces on pointe. Only Teacher Recommendations can place a student in a Pointe Class and dancers must take at least two other ballet classes each week. |
| Tap [45 minutes to 1 hour] |
| Our studio does not focus on a particular style of tap. Our teachers are well-qualified in both rhythm tap and broadway/classic tap. We primarily focus on drilling the basics of flaps and shuffles before learning the many complicated steps of tap. Tap at any level is a great fast-paced class that is also very challenging. We offer multiple levels of tap for ages 8 through high school. Click here for class schedule. |
| Jazz [45 minutes to 1 hour] |
Jazz style of dance is what is seen in many Broadway shows, or even Celine Dion's Vegas Show. It has a technique based off of ballet, but also based off of modern/contemporary dance. Shows like “So You Think You Can Dance” have brought jazz dance back to life in its many forms. A very upbeat class that involves stretching, strength training, technique and learning the various styles of jazz dance. Ages 8 and up, various levels. Click here for class schedule. |
HipHop [45 minutes to 2 hours/week] |
Our HipHop program is offered to dancers ages 7 and up. HipHop is the style of dance that you see in music videos and on shows such as High School Musical and Americas Best Dance Crew. | Musical Theatre Program [1 hour 30 minutes to 4 hours/week] |
Our new musical theatre program will run 12 weeks and end in their very own broadway show experience. Students will take 1 hour 30 minutes of group voice, drama and movement each week. They will also be responsible for up to 2 hours of rehearsal each week to put on their semester-end show. Students are split into two age groups 8-11 years and 11-14 years. | Competition Companies [5 + hours/week] |
| Audition only and for the dancer who wants to experience multiple classes a week and traveling opportunities. We start company training at ages 4-5 years and go up through 18 years old. The competition company will have multiple weekend rehearsals and travel to Orlando, Atlanta, Charlotte for regional competitions during the school year and Orlando, New York, Las Vegas, etc for a possible Nationals Competition in the summer. There is a required amount of classes and rehearsals for each age group--Please see the front desk for more information (Auditions are in June!!) |
| Gymnastics |
Gymnastics with Coach Blanca is available for 3-8 year olds and teaches kids the basics of floor, beam, and barre gymnastics. Click here for class schedule. |
| Adult Classes |
| Our adult classes are designed for both the beginner dancer and those who are eager to get back to dance. These classes are an amazing workout for all ages in a non-gym environment. Classes are low-impact and we have sprung dance floors to help provide a a safe and enjoyable workout. Click here for class schedule. |
